Ingredients for bread pudding:
- 1 pound day-old bread (10-12 slices) torn into 1 inch pieces
- 2 cups warm water
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 egg
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 cup low fat milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons whiskey
Instructions for bread pudding:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, soak the bread pieces in the water
- Stir in raisins and place in an 8 inch square baking dish that has been coated with nonstick baking oil spray.
- In a small bowl, with an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the remaining ingredients until well combined.
- Pour over the bread mixture and bake for 60-65 minutes or until puffy and set in the center.
